Section: 3. CREATING A NEW SCORECARD
Subsection: 3.2 Step-by-Step for the Notes form
Topic: Creating a Notes Scorecard

There are two methods for creating a new Notes Scorecard document. They are the Tools Run and the Compose methods. They each have benefits. Both may be used by Scorecard Owners only.

The Tools Run method uses the Notes Tools Run command menu to create the Scorecard in five easy steps. This method uses predefined macro programs to automatically create the new Scorecard document. It also provides status information and a timer for tracking the creation progress. Therefore, the Tools Run method is preferred way to create a new Scorecard.

The Compose method uses the standard Notes compose command to create a new scorecard document. Setup entries are made directly in the new document. Button commands are then used to create the Scorecard components. The Compose method may be slightly faster, but it provides no feedback.
