What is it about programming that is so gratifying for those who do it? I think it's that immediate gratification when it works.

My Math teacher programmed the project so when the successful result printed on those green and white pin-fed print-out, instead of printing "Happ, Ed" in the header; it printed "Happy Ed". He was right.
